Living Better Through Stronger Connections

Who am I

I am a registered Occupational Therapist who has worked with children, youth, and their families for over 10 years. I graduated from McGill University with a Masters’ degree in Occupational Therapy. My background includes working across a variety of settings—from pediatric psychiatry and child protection agencies to specialized centers and programs for individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.

Through my experiences, I have learned that the best way to enable change is through intentional connection. Be it through connecting to ourselves starting with our nervous systems or to those around us through our attachment styles, we can enable change and live more engaged lives.

What I do

I help children, youth, and their families find a greater sense of control, safety, and stability. This means supporting kids in reaching a calmer, more secure, and adaptable state—so they can simply be kids. As an Occupational Therapist, my role is to support autonomy and engagement in different occupations important to children and their families.

Whether it's playing, learning at school, enjoying time at home, or building stronger relationships, the goal is to help them thrive in all areas of their lives.

A big part of my work involves supporting caregivers and other important relationships in a child or youth’s life. I use sensory- and motor-based approaches to better understand how the body and mind respond to adversity and stress. By helping children connect with their senses and inner experiences, I guide them in identifying their feelings, expressing them, and finding ways to cope.
